Position: Information Technology Specialist

Position Summary:

The Qatar Motor Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) is seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to support the organization's operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, and other IT equipment.

- Monitor and maintain the organization's network security, ensuring data protection and system integrity.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure use of technology.

- Support and train staff on the use of IT systems and software.

- Manage and maintain the organization's website and social media platforms.

- Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.

- Experience with network security, data backup, and disaster recovery.

- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, C++, or Python.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with motorsports or the automotive industry is a plus.
